Fundraising Information – Walk with a good cause!

In addition to purchasing a T-shirt or ticket, you can further contribute to raising funds for HKDR’s dogs by seeking sponsorships from your friends and colleagues for your walk from the Peak to Lan Kwai Fong!

Sponsorships for your walk is a crucial component of the event because it enables us to gather essential funds and even raising a extra few hundred dollars can make a significant difference! This money will play a vital role to ensure that all the dogs under HKDR’s care will receive the proper care and attention.

P2F Fundraising FAQ

Q1: How do I collect money from my sponsors?

1. Use the sponsorship form included with your P2F T-shirt/ticket for record-keeping purposes.
2. Bring your form with you wherever you go and ask individuals to add their names and the amount in HK$ they would like to sponsor. Ask people from school, work, your local bar and any other places you can think of!

Tips: It’s more convenient to collect the money from your sponsors when they fill in the form. This eliminates the need to contact them later and arrange a meeting, ensuring that you receive the funds for the dogs.

On the day of the event, bring your sponsorship form along with the cash or crossed cheques and hand in the money/cheques at the Sponsorship Form Collection booth once you reach Lan Kwai Fong. Please note that we do not accept coins but we do accept payments through Payme, FPS or Alipay.

Q2: How can my sponsors obtain a tax receipt?

Tax receipts can be issued upon request for sponsorship amounts of $100 or more. If a sponsor wishes to receive a tax receipt, please indicate it on the sponsor form and ensure you collect their email address. It is essential to provide complete and accurate information to process tax receipts.

Q3: If I am unable to attend Peak to Fong in person, how do I submit the sponsorship form and money?

If you are unable to personally attend the Peak to Fong event but have been sponsored for the walk, you can submit your sponsorship form and money in cash or cheque(s) to one of the designated locations listed below. Please ensure that the submission is made no later than 6 pm on the event day if you wish to participate in the prize-winning competition:
