Can I bring dogs to the event?
Absolutely! We welcome all friendly and healthy dogs to the Hero Dogs event. In fact, we encourage participants to bring their dogs along as “Hero Dogs” to join in on the fun. Just be sure to clean up after your pooch and keep them under control at all times so that everyone can enjoy the event safely.
I’m joining with my friends. Do we all need to register separately?
Each participant should fill in a registration form and pay a HK$200 Entry Fee. In return, each one of you will receive a useful and very cool drawstring bag, and a bandana.
I’m coming with more than one dog, is that ok?
Yes, there are no limits on the number of Hero Dogs you can take with you. If you want to buy an extra bandana for your second dog, it will cost $120.
What time do I need to arrive on the day?
Our event starts at 1:00pm. All the Forces (Air Force, Navy and Army) will gather at the Main Square of WM Hotel at 1:00pm, then the adventures will begin!
Must I arrive on time and do the adventure with everybody else?
It is not a must to do the adventure with everybody else. You can start any time during the day, and will receive a certificate as long as you finish the route by 7:00pm. However, for participants who are joining The Navy, if you miss our ferry to Sharp Island at 1:30pm, you will have to buy your own ferry tickets.
Is the WOOF Market open to the public?
Absolutely! Free access to all. However only registered participants of Hero Dogs will be able to get free beer.
What if the weather is bad on the event day?
Depending on how bad the weather is, we may postpone the whole event to another day. Please stay tuned on our Facebook or Instagram for announcements.
